Miriam is affiliated with Kvale’s Shipping Department. Her practice primarily focuses on legal matters within the energy and offshore industries, as well as commercial contracts and dispute resolution.
Miriam has valuable in-house experience from her role as Legal Counsel with a large international offshore company, where she worked on the negotiation and drafting of commercial project and supply contracts, as well as providing ongoing legal advice across multiple jurisdictions. She also has experience in dispute resolution, including litigation before the Norwegian courts.
Miriam holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Bergen. She specialised in employment law and data protection and wrote her master’s thesis on job applicants’ duty of disclosure in autumn 2021. During her studies, she completed several trainee placements with commercial law firms, held a student position at Kvale, and worked as a seminar group leader at the University of Bergen.
