Daniel Hermundstad

Daniel Hermundstad is part of our Corporate department and specialises in tax law. He advises Norwegian and international clients on a broad range of tax and corporate matters, including business reorganisations, cross-border establishments, generational transfers, employee incentive plans, and exit tax issues for individual shareholders.

He also assists clients in matters before the tax authorities, including audits, appeals, claims for legal costs and compensation, requests for advance binding rulings, as well as tax returns and other reporting obligations.

Daniel has developed substantial experience within tax and administrative matters through several years at the Norwegian Tax Directorate. In this role, he held a senior position involving the handling of appeals, quality assurance of administrative decisions, and subject-matter responsibility for a number of court cases. This background has also provided him with strong expertise in administrative law generally and tax administration in particular.

In addition, Daniel has published several articles and delivered lectures on tax law.
