Jens Marius Kjærnsli is associated with Kvale's maritime- and offshore department.
He holds a master's degree in Law from the University of Bergen as well as an LL.M. from the University of Leiden. During his LL.M. in Leiden, he specialised in EU law where he wrote his thesis on the internal market's relationship with energy subsidies. He also holds a Cert.H.E. in the program "International Relations and Law" from the University of Edinburgh.
During his studies he worked a year in a legal clinic aiding clients on issues concerning private law.
