The revised Electronic Communications Act came into force 1 July 2013 and has a new regulation regarding the terms connected to storage of information in communication equipment – the so called "cookie section", cf. §2-7b in the Electronic Communications Act.  Storage of information and management of these information is not allowed unless the user is informed about this, and has given his consent to which information are stored, what the purpose of the management is and who is managing the information.
